Sustaining the Knowledge Commons
Research assistant fall 2017 (University of Ottawa students)
Sustaining the knowledge commons (SKC) is a research program on the transition of scholarly publications towards open access. Thanks to a SSHRC Insight Grant, there is an opportunity for a student to join the team as a research assistant during the fall of 2017.
This fall, the priority is a project involving creating a large database in the form of a spreadsheet, by combining data from diverse sources. This is an opportunity to learn a lot about the management and remix of data, two emerging subjects. The research assistant will work with the Principal Investigator and other research assistants. There is a possibility of continuing in the spring of 2018.
